Dr. Michael A. Roegner, MD, a distinguished double board-certified, fellowship-trained anesthesiologist, is making significant strides in chronic pain management at the NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin, serving Appleton, Bellevue, and the surrounding areas of Northeastern Wisconsin. With a commitment to improving the quality of life for his patients, Dr. Roegner employs a multidisciplinary approach to effectively manage various painful conditions.

His extensive educational background includes an undergraduate degree from Creighton University, a Master’s degree from Boston University, and a medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He completed his anesthesia residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was honored to serve as Chief Resident during the 2019-2020 academic year. His dedication to patient care and education is evident as he logged the most hours during his residency, reflecting his unwavering commitment to excellence.

After completing his residency, Dr. Roegner further specialized in pain medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he excelled as a Double Chief Fellow for Academic Research and Education. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in advancing research initiatives and providing support for fellows, residents, and interns, solidifying his expertise in innovative pain management strategies.

At the NeuroSpine Center, Dr. Roegner specializes in treating a broad spectrum of painful conditions, including back pain, neck pain, joint pain, migraines, nerve-related pain, and cancer-related pain. His approach emphasizes patient education and individualized care, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to meet the unique needs of his patients. Dr. Roegner offers a variety of advanced treatment options, including epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, lumbar decompression procedures, spinal cord stimulators, nerve ablations, and sacroiliac joint injections, among others.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Roegner is an avid sports enthusiast, supporting teams such as the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Milwaukee Bucks. He enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through fitness, boating, fishing, and traveling, while also cherishing the time spent with his family.
