With his extensive training and compassionate care, Dr. Messina is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for his patients.

Born and raised in the metro Detroit area, Dr. Messina earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a rigorous residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, where he honed his skills in minimally invasive surgical techniques, reconstructive surgery, and wound care. This comprehensive training equips him to address a wide range of podiatric needs, from treating plantar fasciitis and flat feet to managing trauma and sprains.

Before joining Upperline Health, Dr. Messina worked for two years in the metro Detroit area, where he provided care at multiple clinics and contributed to a Wound Care and Amputation Prevention Center. His commitment to education and mentorship extended to training residents at five separate hospitals, solidifying his reputation as a leader in the podiatric community.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Messina enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, playing video games, working out, tackling home projects with his wife, going on vacations, traveling abroad, and going to church.
