A prominent pain management specialist, Dr. Farrell is affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Southern California Medical Centers in Los Angeles, California with his medical offices located in Beverly Hills, Culver City and Hollywood California. 

Obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree from the National University of Ireland, Cork in 2009 in Human Genetical Engineering before attending National University of Ireland, Limerick for his medical education. Dr Farrell went on to receive his Master of Science degree in Molecular Medicine from Imperial College London. After relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in anesthesiology at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center/ New York University Langone, Brooklyn Medical Center in 2019, followed by completion of his fellowships in both Interventional Pain medicine and Regenerative Medicine at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 2021. 

Dr Farrell is actively engaged in clinical research with particular interest in the area of pain medicine and cognitive brain function after anesthesia. Dr Farrell most current publications involve revised guidelines for management of patients with brain trauma and treatment modalities for central neuropathic pain post brain trauma. Dr Farrell is currently engaged in research investigating the effects of space travel on the human physiology and the effects of space radiation on neural tissues in collaboration with the National Space Agency (NASA) and Queens University of the United Kingdom. 

In pursuit of clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). As the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the ABA is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care.
