Get to know Pharmacist Dr. Ashley Guanzon, who serves patients in Los Angeles, California.

A devoted pharmacist, Dr. Guanzon is a second year infectious diseases pharmacy resident at LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

Pertaining to her educational pursuits, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Creighton University in 2016, and graduated with her medical degree from the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy in 2021.

Pharmacy is the health science that links medical science with chemistry and it is charged with the discovery, production, control, disposal, safe and effective use of drugs. The practice of pharmacy requires excellent knowledge of drugs, their mechanism of action, side effects, interactions, mobility, and toxicity.
