How effective is Albuterol with asthma?
Albuterol is very effective if used correctly. Do not over use it it will make it less effective. If she is using an inhaler I cant stress enough how much better a spacer used with the inhaler makes. It gives her time so squirt the inhaler and take a good 10 seconds to take a deep breath. It is important to hold the breath for at least 3-5 seconds and wait a minute before the second squirt. Albuterol is a respiratory therapists first defense for reactive airways. Good luck in using it. READ MORE
