About

Hello! My name is D’Ondra Bobbitt, and I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience. I specialize in pediatric psychiatric care, focusing on young patients with autism, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. I earned my Master’s in Psychiatric Nursing from Maryville University and have worked at Texas Children’s Hospital, providing life-saving psychiatric care. I work closely with psychiatrists and behavioral specialists to improve mental health outcomes and ensure patient safety. My passion extends beyond my day-to-day responsibilities, as I’ve co-authored publications and supported families by offering home evaluations and collaborating on treatment plans. I am dedicated to helping children and adolescents thrive by providing compassionate, holistic care.

Treatment philosophy:

I believe in offering compassionate, personalized care to my patients while supporting their caregivers. I aim to guide families through treatment with empathy and understanding, ensuring they feel supported at every step. My approach includes home evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with behavior specialists to address each patient's unique needs. I strive to reduce the stress on families by providing comprehensive, in-home support.
