Get to know Internal Medicine Resident Dr. Peter Iskander, who serves patients in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Graduating with his Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto at Scarborough in 2014, Dr. Iskander went on to earn his medical degree from the American University of Antigua in 2020. He then began a Surgical residency before moving to Scranton, PA to pursue Internal Medicine.
An aspiring doctor, he is currently an Internal Medicine resident where he was voted as the Leader of Scholarly Activity at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education. There, he has the ability to train and grow; even to be named “Resident of the Block”!
Among his professional affiliations, Dr. Iskander is an active member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American College of Surgeons.
