Get to know Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Mary Obiyo, who serves patients in Easton, Maryland.

Mary is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton. She has over 25 years of nursing experience and a proven history of success in leading healthcare service initiatives and delivering evidence-based quality care to patients and families.  

Providing health education using evidence-based practice, Mary is experienced in infection control and disease prevention processes. She possesses extensive knowledge about the scope of comprehensive nursing services, regulations, philosophy, and clinical intervention and is equipped with evidence-based clinical skills that create a climate of learning and excellence that encourages growth and quality in nursing.

A Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) holds board certification and provides continuing and comprehensive healthcare for individuals and families across all ages, genders, diseases, and body systems. FNPs maintain patient records, perform physical exams, order or perform diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, develop treatment plans, as well as treat acute and chronic illnesses, conditions, and injuries that fall under primary care.
