Get to know Psychiatrist Dr. Daniel A. Lewis, who serves patients in Florida.

A board certified psychiatrist, Dr. Lewis practices at UF Health Psychiatry – Jacksonville. He specializes in the treatment of depression and bipolar disorder and is well-versed in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

In addition to his clinical role, Dr. Lewis holds academic positions, including that of Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Clerkship Director at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville.

Graduating with his Undergraduate Degrees in Philosophy and Biology from the University of North Florida in 2012, Dr. Lewis went on to earn his Medical Degree from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University in 2017. He then continued his medical training by completing his residency in psychiatry at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville in 2021.

With his extensive academic and clinical experience, Dr. Lewis emerges as a valuable asset in both the realms of psychiatry and medical education. He holds the esteemed title of Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

These include various maladaptations related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions. Psychiatrists evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
