Marjorie Reiter, a distinguished leader in healthcare executive management and administration, is making significant strides in the industry as the CEO of the Surgery Center of Central New Jersey in North Brunswick and a Managing Partner at DIY601 Consulting in Allentown, Pennsylvania. With a robust background in telemedicine, practice management, and healthcare administration, Marjorie is committed to advancing patient care through innovative solutions and compassionate leadership.

Academically, Marjorie holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Brandeis University and a Master’s Degree in Health Systems from Boston University School of Public Health. Her passion for continuous learning has led her to work towards her PhD in Public Service Leadership/Healthcare Administration, with a specific focus on Telemedicine, at Capella University.

Since 2003, Marjorie has been at the forefront of telemedicine, having made significant contributions during her tenure with Maricopa County Correctional Health Services. Her leadership was instrumental in the construction of two new jail facilities and the successful implementation of telemedicine throughout the entire jail system. This groundbreaking work has been recognized at prestigious conferences, including the American Telemedicine Association's Annual Meetings and the ACHE Congress on Healthcare Leadership.

Following her impactful work in correctional health, Marjorie held leadership roles with MIHS and Fresenius Kidney Care, where she directed dialysis clinics and collaborated closely with Vice President Biden on the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. Her commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility and quality is further demonstrated through her involvement on several advisory boards for university healthcare programs.

Marjorie’s dedication to the healthcare field has earned her accolades, including being named a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She actively participates in professional organizations such as the Pennsylvania Telemedicine Council and the American Telemedicine Association, showcasing her commitment to the advancement of telemedicine.

Rooted in the servant-leadership philosophy, Marjorie’s approach to patient care emphasizes treating individuals with kindness and compassion. Early in her career, she learned the importance of holistic patient treatment from a thoracic surgeon mentor, a lesson that continues to guide her professional journey.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Marjorie contributes to her community by volunteering with the local school district and sharing her musical talents with the Phoenix Symphony and Arizona MusicFest Choruses.
