Dr. Dana Brooks, DVM, DACVIM is a small animal veterinary internal medicine specialists with 18 years private specialty practice experience and 11 years of consulting for a national veteirnary diagnostic laboratory. She is proficient in endoscopy, ultrasound and ultrasound guided procedures, bone marrow aspirates and biopsies, cytologic interpretation, many chemotherapy protocols for a variety of different cancers, total parenteral nutrition and feeding tube placement and management.
Dr. Brooks has experience speaking at local veterinary conferences and in house veterinary and veterinary technician trainings. She has trained five interns each year during their internal medicine rotations from 2001-2013.
Dr. Dana Brooks is also active in the Seattle sailing community and volunteers for the University District Foodbank and King County Library System Reading Buddies.
