Lindsay is a licensed and ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist in New Jersey. She is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections through communication. Lindsay earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College and a Master of Science in Education in Speech and Language Pathology from Monmouth University. Additionally, Lindsay is Inside Out Sensory Certified and PROMPT certified practitioner.
Over her 9 years in the field, She has had the privilege of working with children aged 0-21 with diverse abilities and needs. Her professional path has led her through Early Intervention, elementary, and middle school environments, enabling her to address a range of specific needs, including articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language delays/disorders, voice disorders, and pragmatic skills development.
Lindsay is particularly passionate about Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Sensory Integration. She firmly believes that everyone deserves a voice and is dedicated to empowering individuals to communicate their wants and needs. She emphasizes the importance of sensory integration and regulation as essential for accessing language.
In recognition of her dedication to ongoing professional development, Lindsay has received the ACE award from ASHA for completing 70 hours of continuing education over a three-year period. She is deeply committed to staying informed about the latest research and evidence-based practices to ensure that her clients receive the highest standard of care.
Lindsay believes that speech therapy should be a positive and nurturing experience. Her approach emphasizes creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to advocate themselves, and where all communication styles are respected and celebrated.
