Advancing Excellence in Pathology Services Across Phoenix Metro Area Hospitals and Facilities

Phoenix, Arizona – Clin-Path Associates, PLC is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Alex Heimbigner, MD, as an associate pathologist, effective July 2023. With over 50 years of unmatched experience and expertise in pathology services, Clin-Path Associates continues its commitment to providing exceptional professional and laboratory services to hospitals, physician offices, surgery centers, laboratories, and other facilities throughout the Phoenix metro area.

Dr. Heimbigner brings a wealth of knowledge and training to Clin-Path Associates. He obtained his Medical Degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in 2016, followed by a residency in pathology at Saint Louis University in Missouri from 2018 to 2022. Dr. Heimbigner further honed his skills through a fellowship in hematopathology at The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson from 2022 to 2023. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology and is an active member of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Clinical Pathology.

As the exclusive pathology services provider to 11 hospitals in the Phoenix metro area, Clin-Path Associates is dedicated to delivering high-quality pathology services tailored to the needs of its community. The addition of Dr. Heimbigner enhances the depth of expertise available to the practice, allowing Clin-Path to continue meeting the evolving needs of its patient population and healthcare partners.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Heimbigner is passionate about personal growth and creativity. In his spare time, he enjoys reading fantasy novels and playing the piano, pursuits that reflect his appreciation for storytelling and artistry.
