Enhancing Patient Care and Promoting Oral Disease Prevention in West Springfield, Massachusetts

Westside Dental and Estey Dental Center are pleased to announce the appointment of Kyleen Kentish, RDH, as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Kyleen, who graduated from Goodwin University’s Dental Hygiene program in April 2023, brings her passion for patient care and community service to the esteemed dental practice in West Springfield, Massachusetts. 

Kyleen’s educational journey has equipped her with the knowledge and skills essential for a successful career in dental hygiene. Reflecting on her experience at Goodwin University, she stated, “The program and curriculum greatly prepare you for a career in dental hygiene, as do the staff and students you interact with almost daily. The program is structured in a way that helps build your confidence in the knowledge and skills you acquire along the way.” She emphasized that the unique offerings of the program, including extensive community outreach, opportunities to explore career paths beyond clinical roles, and personalized skill development support, set it apart from others.

At Westside Dental and Estey Dental Center, Kyleen has quickly adapted to the family-friendly atmosphere, which aligns perfectly with her commitment to patient-centric care. She expresses a deep passion for getting to know her patients on a personal level, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their appointments. “Building a rapport with my patients is essential to providing the best care possible. I want everyone who walks through our doors to feel welcomed and valued,” she said.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Kyleen remains dedicated to her interests. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, and she actively volunteers at her church, emphasizing her commitment to giving back to the community.
