The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine is proud to announce that Patricia Queiroz-Williams has been appointed as the Interim Director and Clinical Lead for Shared Services at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. As a distinguished Professor and Service Chief of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, Queiroz-Williams is set to enhance the quality of veterinary education and clinical services at LSU.

With a Master of Science degree from Universidade Estadual Paulista School of Medicine in Brazil and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Queiroz-Williams possesses a robust academic background that informs her teaching and clinical practice. Her research interests focus on the clinical use of alfaxalone across different species, as well as anesthesia in rabbits and avian patients.
