The University of Tennessee Medical Center is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Ryan Allen Shillingburg, DO, to its Emergency Department team. Dr. Shillingburg brings over five years of diverse experience in emergency medicine, further enriching the hospital’s commitment to providing exceptional patient care. 

Dr. Shillingburg earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2020 and has since been dedicated to delivering high-quality emergency medical services. He is affiliated with University Health System, Inc., and collaborates with a network of professionals through Southeastern Emergency Physicians LLC, a medical group comprising over 550 members.  

In his role at UT Medical Center, Dr. Shillingburg focuses on immediate decision-making and actions necessary to prevent death or further disability in emergencies. His expertise encompasses the evaluation, care, stabilization, and disposition of a diverse patient population experiencing acute illnesses and injuries.
