Chiropractor
621 N State St Big Rapids MI, 49307About
I’m Dr. Emily! My passion is helping others achieve their individual version of health. Growing up, I always wanted to be a doctor to do just that. However, throughout my years in college, I began to understand that there is more than one way to help people. I am truly passionate about empowering people to take their health into their own hands in a salutogenic model rather than making the decisions for them. This led me to chiropractic. Teaching others that all they need to heal is what they already have within their own body and to empower them to create their own destiny of health.
Upon graduating from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, I then went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. While attending Palmer, I was fortunate to play and coach the Women’s Rugby team as well as participate in the Pediatric club. I studied various techniques such as Palmer package, Diversified, Activator, Sacro-Occipital Technique. I am also ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) certified after completing a multitude of courses on pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic, including the Webster’s Technique certification.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my little family of fur babies, lifting weights, hiking, traveling and being an aunt to all of my nieces and nephew.
