Following her medical education, she completed her residency in internal medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center, culminating her training as Chief Resident.

This fellowship allowed her to further her understanding of healthcare policy while earning a Master of Public Health Degree in Health Policy and Management. Her practicum focused on value-based purchasing in post-acute care settings, equipping her with insights critical for improving patient care.
