  • How do you approach the treatment of severe depression?

With severe depression, if safety is not an issue thoughts of self harm, I typically begin with minor shifts for daily functioning. This looks like a morning and evening routine that covers hygiene and routine care for self. Therapy is helpful with identifying the the root cause of depressive symptoms, emotional support, and symptom management. I also suggest using tools such as journaling for ongoing processing but I highly recommend seeking medication management if interventions have been tried and symptoms have persisted with no relief. • Stress and anxiety?

Unfortunately I'm not a doctor or psychiatrist. However, doing some deep breathing may provide short term relief in the moment of a panic attack. More importantly, I always advise seeking medical attention if you're feeling unwell or not yourself. Please listen to your body and go to a doctor or hospital if things persist. Good luck!.
