Mark Nedelman is the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of ANEWCRO, a nonclinical contract research organization dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and comprehensive support to the biopharmaceutical industry, biotech startups, and academic institutions. With over 40 years of experience in drug discovery and development, Mark brings a unique perspective gained from leadership roles across academia, biopharma, and the CRO sector. Mark’s career began in academia at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he contributed to foundational research efforts. He went on to play key roles in drug development at Centocor and CeleCor Therapeutics, later transitioning to the CRO industry where he served as General Manager at Charles River Laboratories (CRL) and as Chief Executive Officer of Ekam Imaging. Prior to founding ANEWCRO, Mark was the CEO of Biomere, where he successfully developed and executed a growth strategy that culminated in the company’s acquisition by Joinn Labs in 2019. He has co‑authored more than 50 peer‑reviewed publications, contributed to three book chapters, and continues to shape the future of regenerative medicine as a Trustee of the Xenotherapeutics Foundation.
