Get to know Internist Dr. Michael Karing, who serves patients in Euless, Texas.

Dr. Karing is a board-certified internist with Northeast Tarrant Internal Medicine Associates, practicing out of the office in Euless, Texas.

“Webster defines wellness as the quality or state of being in good health, especially as an actively sought goal. My goal, as your physician, is to help you define and achieve that level of health that you are actively seeking. We work as a team to this end; each team member is committed and determined. The MDVIP model is a third team member to help us achieve success” he stated.

Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Dr. Karing grew up in San Antonio, Texas. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology from the University of Texas at Austin, he attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his one-year internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock, and his two-year residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.  

A Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, he is also board-certified through the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine & a member of The Institute of Functional Medicine.

In the state of Texas, Dr. Karing is affiliated with Texas Health Harris Methodist Hurst-Euless-Bedford and Methodist Southlake Medical Center.

Among his professional affiliations, he is an active member of the Association of American Physicians & Surgeons, the Texas Medical Association, and the Tarrant County Medical Association.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.

On a more personal note, Dr. Karing is married to Dr. Beverly Wood, an OB/GYN in Bedford.  They have two children. In his time away from the office, he enjoys networking, skiing, and spending time with his family.
