A native Houstonian, Dr. Bobo graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rice University. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 1998 and went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical College of Georgia in 2002. 

Following her training, she became board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.

Actively involved in academic teaching programs with residents, Dr. Bobo is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Baylor College of Medicine.

In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association and the American Medical Women’s Association.
