About

Dr. Monika Spokas, founder of Clarendon Vision Development Center, fell in love with pediatrics and vision therapy in optometry school. She understood that with this knowledge combined with her passion, that she had the opportunity to make a positive impact on the trajectory of others’ lives. Since 2002, Dr. Spokas and CVDC has been changing the lives of children and their families through the latest in Vision Therapy, Myopia Management, Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation and Primary Eye Care. With a specialty in learning related vision problems (ADHD, autism, dyslexia, developmental delays, etc.), traumatic vision issues (concussion and acquired brain injury) for patients of all ages, Clarendon Vision goes beyond primary eye care to treat the entire patient. Dr. Spokas has made it a point to hire a team of like-minded professionals looking to put the patient first. Our team loves what we do. We feel blessed, and love coming to work. It is our vocation. It is our hobby. The challenge of figuring out how to impact and improve upon the lives of individuals and their families is the core of who we are.
