A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Dr. Lagrew Jr. earned his Medical Degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 1979. He completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University Hospital in Lexington before pursuing a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center.
With an illustrious career in the medical field, Dr. Lagrew Jr. has held key leadership positions at prestigious institutions, starting with his role as Medical Director of Women’s Hospital at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center from March 1988 to March 2010. Concurrently, he served as Medical Director at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center from January 1996 to March 2012.
Following these roles, Dr. Lagrew Jr. became Chief Integration and Accountability Officer at MemorialCare Health System from March 2010 to April 2016, also holding the title of Chief Integration and Accountability Officer from 2011 to 2012. Subsequently, he served as Executive Medical Director of Women’s Services at Providence, St. Joseph Health from October 2016 to July 2022. Most recently, Dr. Lange has been a Board Member at Cern Corporation since May 2021.
