Born in Jackson, Mississippi, Dr. Lampton earned his Medical Degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1993. He completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center from 1993 to 1996, laying a strong foundation for his extensive career in family medicine.
Dr. Lampton’s commitment to public health and community service is exemplified by his tenure as Chairman of the Mississippi State Board of Health for over a decade. He has also played a significant role as Medical Director for various healthcare facilities, including Beacham Memorial Hospital. His leadership extends to the academic realm, where he dedicates time to teaching the next generation of healthcare professionals.
