Dr. Levy is an Age Management Medicine Physician. Age Management Medicine is a progressive, preventative, proactive specialty focused on health, not disease. Dr. Levy is also a practicing Neurosurgeon in both Upstate New York and the New York Metropolitan area. Neurosurgeons are doctors who diagnose and treat problems with the nervous system, often by performing surgery on the brain or spine. They treat strokes, tumors, certain types of birth defects, infections and head or spinal cord injuries.

Dr. Levy is board-certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the public interest and the professions of psychiatry and neurology by promoting excellence in practice through certification and maintenance of certification processes.

Dr. Levy received his medical degree from the Medical School of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Thereafter, he went on to complete a residency in Neurosurgery at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, as well as a residency in General Surgery at Baystate Medical Center – Tufts University. He also completed an internship (transitional year) at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

Dr. Levy is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS). The CNS is a professional association representing neurosurgeons, neurosurgical residents, medical students, and allied health professionals. As a leader in education and innovation, the association remains dedicated to advancing neurosurgery.

Dr. Levy is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, often listed as “FACS”, is a post-nominal title used to indicate that the surgeon’s education and training, professional qualifications, surgical competence, and ethical conduct have passed a rigorous evaluation, and have been found to be consistent with the high standards established and demanded by said College. The American College of Surgeons is dedicated to improving the care of the surgical patient and to safeguarding standards of care in an optimal and ethical practice environment.
