Dr. Kurt Jones is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with more than four decades of experience dedicated to women’s health. He currently serves as an OBGYN hospitalist with Women’s Care Florida in Lakeland, where he provides compassionate, evidence-based care to women across all stages of life. A graduate of Meharry Medical College, Dr. Jones began his medical career in the U.S. Navy before establishing himself in private practice. Over the years, he has held numerous leadership positions, including Medical Director of Women’s Services at Sacred Heart Regional Medical Center in Pensacola and Chief of the OBGYN Department at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He also served as CEO of the Center for Women’s Health, where he led his own practice for nearly two decades. In addition to his clinical and leadership roles, Dr. Jones has contributed to medical education as faculty with Florida State University, where he was recognized as a Top Teacher from 2007 to 2009. His commitment to advancing the field of obstetrics and gynecology is reflected in both his patient care and his mentorship of the next generation of physicians. Currently, Dr. Jones is working toward opening a new clinic that will expand access to high-quality women’s healthcare. Dedicated, experienced, and passionate about his profession, he continues to make a lasting impact in the field of women’s health throughout Florida.
