Dr. David Cuthbertson is an Ears, Nose and Throat specialist (ENT, Head and Neck Surgeon) who has been practicing at Ear Nose & Throat Associates in Lubbock, TX since 2016. Prior to that he completed his residency in Houston as part of the prestigious team at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Cuthbertson treats all age groups, from pediatric ear tubes and tonsils, to adult diseases. He is especially adept at the latest innovative surgeries for sleep apnea, sinus surgery, particularly in-office balloon sinuplasty, nasal procedures such as septoplasty, and intricate head and neck procedures, such as thyroid and parathyroidectomies. Whether the illness is simple or complex, Dr. Cuthbertson will put you at ease with his relaxed, caring and compassionate nature.
Dr. Cuthbertson received dual undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Spanish (he is fluent!) at the University of Texas at Austin prior to attending medical school at Baylor College of Medicine. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa honor society, as well as Alpha Omega Alpha medical school honor society. He is a board-certified member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery, a member of the Texas Medical Board and a member of Covenant Health Partners.
Outside of the office, Dr. Cuthbertson appreciates spending time with his wife, and son and two daughters. He also enjoys participating in college ministry activities, both locally and globally.

Subsequently, he pursued his medical education at Baylor College of Medicine and completed his residency there.
Following his rigorous training, he obtained board certification in otolaryngology through the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. It is a non-profit organization with the mission of ensuring professional standards in this field since 1924.
Since 2022, Dr. Cuthbertson has assumed the role of Chair of the Medical Executive Committee at Covenant High Plains Surgery Center, demonstrating his leadership and commitment to excellence in the medical field.
