Get to know Orthodontist Dr. Keith E. Macdonald, who serves patients in Mesa, Arizona. 

Dr. Macdonald is an orthodontist serving Mesa and the surrounding communities. He is affiliated with Macdonald Orthodontics – a full-service orthodontic office. All orthodontic records are obtained in-office, and appliances and retainers are made by the in-house lab, allowing them to make sure patients receive the highest quality products and treatments. 

Dr. Macdonald earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He went on to complete an orthodontic specialty degree from the University of California Los Angeles. 

Dr. Macdonald is an active member of the American Board of Orthodontics, American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, Arizona Orthodontic Society, Arizona Orthodontic Study Club, American Dental Association, and Arizona Dental Association. Additionally, he is a participant in the Smiles Change Lives Program. 

Orthodontics is a specialty of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis, prevention and correction of malpositioned teeth and jaws. As an orthodontist, Dr. Macdonald must recognize various characteristics of malocclusion or dentofacial deformity, define the nature of the problem, including the etiology if possible, and design a treatment strategy based on the specific needs and desires of the patient. 

During his time in the field, Dr. Macdonald has helped countless patients in having a bigger, brighter smile. He has been published internationally in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
