10 Recipes for a Delicious Gluten-Free Thanksgiving
Baked brie with apples
Looking for another appetizer? Baked brie is another common appetizer on the holiday table, but what should celiac patients use to eat with it? As many might know, brie goes great with many different fruits, and brie and any apples go great together!
The ingredients?
- 1/4 wedge of a large wheel
- 1/2 cup of chopped and toasted pecans
- 2 Tbsp. of honey
- 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- Sliced apples of your choosing
- A sprinkle of lemon juice
Preheat oven to 375 and cover the baking sheet with foil before placing the brie on top. Mix the pecans, honey, nutmeg and cinnamon together in a bowl before spreading the mixture on top of the brie.
After the oven is done preheating, bake it for around 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese begins to melt.
Sprinkle lemon juice over the sliced apples to prevent them from turning brown, and then serve them on a dish with the brie.
