7. Wandering aimlessly
Sixty percent of people who have dementia tend to walk or wander without any purpose or worse, become lost. This happens over and over again. There are many reasons why wandering happens. It can be because of being restless, having fear, getting confused, and not being able to recognize people, things, and places.
There are also cases that people might go out of their house and satisfy a need, such as eating certain foods. The reason can also be wanting to go home since they do not realize that they are already home or they think they need to go to their former job due to memory issues.
