Does Lupus Mean a Lifetime of Poor Sleep?

The vicious cycle of poor sleep

Those with SLE have to deal with flare-ups of all or some of the symptoms.  That means, that on any given day, someone with lupus can be affected by chronic pain or exhaustion or any of the other side-effects that some have with the disorder. 

Being sleepy can make a person with lupus feel sleepier, achier, hungrier and pretty much make them go about their day like a zombie. It can also mean that patients can suffer from unexpected and intense flare-ups.
