Crohn’s and Colitis UK informs us that while a number of ‘challenges’ may initially seem insurmountable, there are easy and inexpensive ways to accommodate job-seekers with Crohn’s.

One example of the above is to assign the employee’s workstation close to a bathroom. Another would be granting that person a ‘flexible’ work shift. By permitting flexible scheduling, the employee may be able to not only schedule necessary medical appointments accordingly, but could also be given time in the morning to deal with common morning bathroom issues. Such accommodations could mesh with the employees’ desire to arrive at work on time.
