Another study has also been conducted among 307 women who have moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea. The mean age of the participants was 57.1 years. These women were randomized to receive CPAP or Continuous Positive Airway Pressure therapy for the span of 3 months. According to the results, there has been an improvement in anxiety, daytime sleepiness, depressive symptoms, and mood state of the participants after receiving CPAP for 3 months.
