Study Reveals Most Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients Don't Exercise Enough
Don't forget to stretch!
Stretching is easy to ignore, but it is especially crucial for those suffering from RA. If you know that you are about to undertake some activity that will likely cause you pain or discomfort (like walking around or swimming) consider stretching out the muscles and joints that typically cause you pain. You should also stretch after doing any physical activity to prevent stiffness in the joints and prevent injuries to the joints or muscles. Stretches can also be added directly to your routines, which is especially helpful for RA patients experiencing loss of motion in certain limbs.
