• What caused my rash?

I have developed a rash over my entire body except for my face. I first noticed it on my arms and over approximately 2 to 3 weeks it has become more prevalent with itching and now I feel a little swelling around my waist and top of my thighs. The only new medication I started within that time period was fluticasone nasal spray. What does this sound like to you?

Hi, nurses are not trained to diagnose, so I recommend you report your symptoms to your primary care provider. If you dont have a PCP, then I would advise a patient in a state I hold an RN license WA and OR to present to urgent care for evaluation given this is not resolving on its own. RNs are limited to only provide medical advice to patients who are physically in a state where the RN is licensed.

Sounds like an allergic reaction. See what happens when you stop the spray for a few weeks.

You should see your doctor. There are some viral infections that cause rashes like this and are classic in some cases. Usually benign.
