We still don't really know whether fat promotes breast cancer or not, but we do know certain kinds of fat are related to its development. Besides, maintaining a healthy weight and limiting the amount of fat you eat will help you maintain overall health. That's not to say that you should never eat fat. You still need healthy fats like unsaturated fatty acids and omega-3 fatty acids to stay in tip-top shape. Always choose healthier kinds of fat over unhealthy ones.
