A top professional in the field of pediatric critical care medicine, Dr. Torres tends to patients at Nemours Children’s Specialty Care in Lakeland, Florida.

Throughout his academic career, he graduated with his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1986, and completed his residency in pediatrics at the Loyola University Medical Center in 1989. He then went on to complete his fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in 1992.

Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Achieving fellowship status, Dr. Torres is a Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine (FCCM), and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
