Get to know Colorectal Surgeon Dr. Michael Gallo, who serves patients in Garden City, New York.

A highly trained colorectal surgeon, Dr. Gallo works with patients at his private practice, Garden City Colon & Rectal Surgical Practice.

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. He then went on to complete his residency in general surgery at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine, and his fellowship in colon & rectal surgery at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Licensed to practice medicine in New York, Dr. Gallo has medical privileges at North Shore University Hospital, NYU Winthrop Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital South Nassau, and Long Island Jewish Medical Center.

Active in academia, he serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor within the Department of Surgery at the NYU Long Island School of Medicine.
