Her commitment to patient care led her to work as a Patient Care Associate on the Infectious Disease Unit at Albany Medical Center, setting the stage for her pursuit of a Medical Degree at Albany Medical College, which she obtained in May 2010.
In 2014, Dr. Smizer brought her expertise to Women for Women OBGYN following the completion of her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
