Dr. Neal Lonky is a Physician Lead at Kaiser Permanente and the CEO of Histologics LLC, a company dedicated to developing innovative and compassionate devices for minimally invasive tissue sampling and wound hygiene/debridement. Dr. Lonky became a part of Kaiser Permanente in 1986, following the completion of his medical training. With an entrepreneurial spirit, Dr. Lonky has successfully invented and introduced numerous surgical tools and devices throughout his impressive 35-year career. Additionally, he serves as a Clinical Professor of OB/GYN at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, and has previously held the position of director of medical education for Orange County.
As a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Lonky received his medical degree from Stony Brook University in 1986 and later pursued a master's degree in health policy and management from the UCLA School of Public Health in 1997. His dedication and contributions have been recognized through prestigious awards such as the Kaiser Permanente Exceptional Contribution Award and the Orange County Medical Association Physicians of Excellence Award. Dr. Lonky's passion for global healthcare is evident through his extensive travels, where he educates and volunteers his clinical services to promote cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment in underserved areas.
