NYU Langone Fertility Center proudly reaffirms its commitment to providing exceptional fertility care with the continued presence of Dr. Hodes Wertz, a distinguished board-certified fertility specialist and reproductive endocrinologist. Dr. Wertz has been an integral member of the NYU Langone team, seeing patients at both the East Side and NoMad locations.

Dr. Hodes Wertz brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and as a Director at the NYU Langone Fertility Center. With a comprehensive background that includes advanced infertility training through a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the NYU School of Medicine, Dr. Wertz is well-equipped to address the diverse needs of her patients.

After earning her medical degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey in 2007, Dr. Wertz further honed her expertise through rigorous residency training in obstetrics and gynecology. Her dedication to advancing the field of reproductive medicine is evident in her published clinical articles featured in reputable journals such as the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Fertility & Sterility.

Dr. Wertz specializes in a wide array of fertility-related issues, including female and male infertility, in vitro fertilization (IVF), fertility preservation, recurrent miscarriage, and conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis. She is also passionate about supporting family-building for LGBTQ patients, offering inclusive options such as surrogacy and egg donation. Her expertise extends to minimally invasive surgical techniques and advanced procedures like preimplantation genetic diagnosis and oocyte recovery.
