Get to know Ophthalmologist Dr. Lan Pham, who serves patients in Yorktown Heights, New York.

A top professional in the field of ophthalmology, Dr. Pham practices medical and surgical eye care in Yorktown Heights, New York at Northern Westchester Ophthalmology.

Having been caring for patients in Westchester and Putnam counties since 2000, she specializes in laser assisted cataract surgery and advanced technology lens implants & minimally invasive glaucoma implants. She can also diagnose and treat diseases including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, glaucoma, dry eyes, eyelid lesions, and eye infections.

A 1996 graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine, Dr. Pham went on to perform her internship in internal medicine at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell at Lenox Hill Hospital in 1997. She followed this up with a residency in ophthalmology at Westchester Medical Center in 2000.

Subsequent to her education, the doctor attained board certification in ophthalmology through the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). The ABO is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.

With expertise in eye care, Dr. Pham is an active member of the American Academy Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the New York State Ophthalmology Society, the Westchester Medical Society, and the Medical State Society of New York. She is also affiliated with Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York. 

Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine and surgery, which deals with the diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders. Ophthalmologists are experts in the diseases, functions, and anatomy of the eye.
