A seasoned orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Alost is licensed in Texas and Louisiana and has provided comprehensive orthopedic care to patients in both states. He is currently affiliated with Providence Medical Partners and has a wide range of experience in treating various conditions, including sprains and strains, osteoarthritis, joint disorders, injury, joint dislocations, fractures, and sports injuries.

With a broad educational background, Dr. Alost received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 1984 and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Louisiana State University Charity Hospital in 1989.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (FAAOS), the doctor is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.

Throughout his career, he has established himself as a compassionate and dedicated physician, committed to providing his patients with the highest quality care possible. He is known for his expertise as a Team Physician for El Paso Chihuahuas (AAA San Diego) from 2013 to 2019. He has also been the Team Physician for the El Paso Diablos (AA Arizona), El Paso Buzzards Professional Hockey Team, and El Paso Patriots Professional Soccer Team.

As a sports medicine specialist, he has a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by athletes and is dedicated to helping them get back on the field as quickly and safely as possible.
