Originally from Syria, Dr. AlMahameed graduated with his medical degree from Damascus University in 1993. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic in 2001. Later, he completed two consecutive fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 2009 and 2010, respectively.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), the doctor attained board certification in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
