About

I am a surgical pathologist practicing in Garden City, NY. I specialize in the study of diseases of the prostate, urinary bladder, ureter, renal pelvis, urethra, kidney (excluding medical diseases of the kidney), penis and scrotum. As a urological pathologist, I analyze under the microscope tissue from biopsies, parts of organs, or the entire organ to provide the urologist with a diagnosis that can guide the clinician in terms of treatment and prognosis. I am especially known for my expertise in diagnosing and grading prostate and bladder cancer, where I was the primary author of the currently used grading systems for prostate and bladder cancer.
