Pathologist | Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology
700 Stewart Ave. Suite 101 Garden City NY, 11530About
I am a surgical pathologist practicing in Garden City, NY. I specialize in the study of diseases of the prostate, urinary bladder, ureter, renal pelvis, urethra, kidney (excluding medical diseases of the kidney), penis and scrotum. As a urological pathologist, I analyze under the microscope tissue from biopsies, parts of organs, or the entire organ to provide the urologist with a diagnosis that can guide the clinician in terms of treatment and prognosis. I am especially known for my expertise in diagnosing and grading prostate and bladder cancer, where I was the primary author of the currently used grading systems for prostate and bladder cancer. I am a world expert in urological pathology and have written over 1,000 medical articles, 73 book chapters, and 21 books.
