Dr. Greer is a family physician with over two decades of experience in hospital medicine, primary care, post-acute care, urgent care, and family medicine residency, where she was core faculty. 

A healthcare leader with in-depth experience in hospital and outpatient operations, Dr. Greer is recognized for transforming healthcare practices, pioneering a results-driven approach to patient care, and championing advancements in digital health in order to improve the lives of patients and healthcare professionals. Guiding portfolio companies to success, she serves as a Senior Investment Partner of Healthcare System Solutions at AI Healthcare Capital in California. 

As part of several health systems, Dr. Greer refined healthcare services for over 1.5 million patients, establishing a benchmark in acute care with a unique blend of performance models, healthcare partnerships, and digital health integrations. She has led efforts in technology that saw significant improvements in revenue recovery for hospital systems, employing a combination of advanced analytics, automated hospital best practices, and collaborative endeavors with IT and clinical departments.

Furthermore, Dr. Greer has made substantial investments in digital health, including asynchronous visits, patient education, patient self-scheduling platforms, virtual visits, and integrated dictation systems. These initiatives not only streamlined care processes but also elevated the patient experience. Her innovative measures during the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic ensured uninterrupted healthcare delivery.

Back in the early days of her academic career, Dr. Greer graduated with her Medical Degree from the UC Davis School of Medicine in 1996. She then went on to perform her residency in family medicine at the University of California (San Francisco) from 1996 to 1999.

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Greer is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

On a professional level, Dr. Greer is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American College of Physicians, the American Public Health Association, and the National Association for Healthcare Quality.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility. 

Beyond her professional role, Dr. Greer is dedicated to community service. She is a board member of Clinic by the Bay, a non-profit committed to helping the underserved, and a mentor at Women Leaders of the World. Additionally, she is involved in advocacy for patients and those who care for them as a member of ACPA’s governmental affairs committee. Her venture capital investments include angel investing and limited partnerships with How Women Invest and Westwood Ventures.
