Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Teresita Lu Melocoton, who serves the population of Nevada. Dr. Melocoton graduated with her Medical Degree from the University of the East College of Medicine in 1978, giving her over four decades of experience. After obtaining her Medical Degree Dr. Melocoton completed her pediatrics at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Wanting to further her training she completed her Pediatric Nephrology fellowship with the UCLA Medical Center. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. To stay up to date within her field she remains a professional member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Melocoton speaks Spanish, Pilipino Dr. Melocoton currently practices General Pediatrics within her private practice Valley Pediatrics and Specialty Center. She is affiliated with Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Southern Hills Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center and Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center. Her mission is to build healthier lives and communities by providing exceptional medical care to individual and families. Dr. Melocoton sees patient newborn to 18 years old. She practices in 2 locations in Las Vegas 730 N. Eastern Ave, Suite 100, Las Vegas Nevada and 3701 W. Charleston Blvd Las Vegas Nevada. She also is a provider for the Bureau of Disability Adjudication. Together we can ensure and foster healthier lifestyles for generations to come. At Valley Pediatrics and Specialty Center, we offer Sliding Fee Schedule to all the uninsured patients. The clinic hours are M-F 9 AM -6 PM at both locations and open also on Saturdays 9-5PM at the Eastern location.
