Get to know Pediatric Gastroenterologist Dr. Valentine Enemuo, who serves the population of Kansas. Dr. Enemuo is a dual certified and fellowship trained Pediatric Gastroenterologist. He currently practices with the Midwest Women’s & Children’s Specialty Group Overland Park Kansas and is affiliated with Overland Park Regional Medical Center and Saint Luke. The Overland Park hospital has been serving the healthcare needs of Johnson County and the surrounding counties since December of 1978. The hospital is a licensed 343-bed facility offering acute medical care services to our patients. The hospital campus features four medical office buildings, two pharmacies and the offices of more than 100 physicians. Saint Luke’s has been at the heart of Kansas City health care, and has a reputation for innovation, quality and compassion. Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is nationally ranked in three specialties, including cardiology and heart surgery, gynecology, and neurology and neurosurgery. Dr. Enemuo graduated with his Medical Degree from the University Of Nigeria in 1994, giving him over two decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his medical degree he relocated to the united states and graduated with his Pediatrics residency with the Charles R Drew University of Med and Science. Furthering his training he completed his Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship with the University of British Columbia. Dr. Enemuo holds certification in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Enemuo has great interactions with his patients one stating, “Dr. Enemuo is very thorough and responsive. He never leaves us waiting for test results. He is readily available to answer questions. His office is very efficient and we usually get in without a prolonged wait.” Pediatric gastroenterologists are trained to treat complications of the gastrointestinal system, or digestive system, in children.
