Get to know Dentist Dr. Misty A. Henne, who serves patients in San Jose, California.

Dr. Henne is a skilled and compassionate dentist. She provides exceptional care to patients of all ages at Cherry Family Dental in South San Jose, California.

She took over the Cherry Family Dental practice from Jeffrey Neuroth, DDS, who had been providing his exceptional services to the community for over 40 years. She looks forward to continuing his legacy of high-quality family dentistry while maintaining a reputable focus on Invisalign®, cosmetic dentistry, and restorative dentistry.

Holding themselves to the highest standards of excellence, Dr. Henne and the team at Cherry Family Dental place a strong emphasis on promoting good education and preventative dental care. They believe that the best way to keep a smile healthy is to prevent conditions from developing in the first place and make a concerted effort to provide dental health care, rather than disease care. They also believe in giving patients all of the necessary tools to make informed decisions. 

Growing up in Michigan, Dr. Henne graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, graduating in 2002. She met her husband, Dr. Aman Bhullar, a fellow dentist, while in dental school.

Continuing to learn and refine her techniques with continuing education courses, she is passionate about discovering new technologies and procedures to improve her patients’ oral health and dental experience. She stays active in her field with memberships in the Santa Clara Dental Society, the California Dental Board, and the American Dental Association.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.  

When she is not working with patients, Dr. Henne likes going for runs on the Los Alamitos Trail or shuttling her four beautiful and active daughters to various activities around Almaden Valley.
